5 out of 5 stars Yes to the boombox   June 20, 2010
Victoria Harris (Charlotte, NC)
This is a great tag-along for the iPOD. I listen to mine every night. The only thing is that it doesn't charge the iPOD while it is in the boombox but aside from that it is definitely worth the investment.

3 out of 5 stars Fine for kids, but what are these parts and where is the aux cord?   June 1, 2010
DoctoRenée (South Carolina)
I ordered this for my 4 yo kid to listen to music in her room. It sounds fine. I am a bit befuddled but three parts that were packaged separately. They are flat and have two integrated hooks on one side and two narrow rubber strips on teh back. Any ideas? Also, I specifically wanted a player that was compatable with a shuffle (bc I dont want to share my nano with my daughter). There is supposed to me a cord to connect the shuffle, but no cord came with this unit. I guess I will have to give her my nanao and upgrade myself instead of dealing with customer support!

1 out of 5 stars Terrible Product   April 27, 2010

This product is as bad as they come. We purchased two of these units for our iPods and in less than 30 seconds, both units fried (literally) both of our iPods. To make matters worse, the customer service at iLive was horrendous. You couldn't find people more rude, obnoxious, and couldn't care less about user-experience with their products. Thankfully, the people at amazon.com were gracious enough to allow us to return this abysmal product.

The item was misrepresented. It was a gift for my daughter to use with her IPod. She could not use the product. We had to return it.

5 out of 5 stars The little boombox that does   January 28, 2010
Jay Dubya (Anaheim, CA)
I believe you have to rate products based on what you pay for them, and this product rates as excellent for the price. An antenna to deliver stations in poor reception areas. Well built and easy to take along. It is no Bose but then I paid less than $50.00 for the unit. It can fill in as an emergency radio because it operates on batteries. And my wife, for whom the item was purchased loves the color and design. It works great as an ipod dock and the footprint allows it to be placed in areas most units won't fit. The tuning dial is small and difficult to read but everyone that used it knows where there stations are by touch so it has not been a problem for us. Lacking the head phone jack was a big dissapointament, but them again I paid less than $50.00 for the unit
