I bought this model in on clearance at a Walgreens for $10. My only major complaint is it doesn't come with a wall plug, there is a DC jack in the back, also can be powered by usb, which may be inconvenient but I just used my ipod wall charger, also runs on 4 AA batteries. I cant speak for the wall plug, it does charge the ipod on usb power, but on AA batteries it does not charge your ipod which is annoying but not a big deal. Speakers are loud enough to fill a regular sized room, such as a living room. Loud enough to put on the deck and listen while swimming outdoors as well. Audio Quality is a bit below par, but nothing too noticeable, and only at high volumes. On your ipod, set the EQ as small speakers and it fixes the problem. the folding technique is cool and portable, and I havent had to replace the batteries yet after about 20hrs of playtime. Also has an Aux plugin with included 3.5mm-3.5mm audio cable. Seeing as I use my ipod for all my music needs, Im happy to have an audio cable for the AUX on my car stereo :)
overall, good for the money, even at $30.

I didn't buy this from Amazon which states pretty clearly that it only works on Nano 2G and older. The box if you happen to buy it in a store however doesn't mention this ANYWHERE AT ALL... so you won't discover this neat little fact until after you get home and try to hook it up. It seems generally pretty neat and compact, but given that it doesn't work on my unit I can't really tell much more then that.
