weak hinges July 27, 2010 luvcats (Arizona) I was very careful handling the case after reading other reviews that the construction was poor. Never-the-less, mine also broke within the first 2 weeks of use. One of the hinges broke and though it still latches, it is very unstable. It doesn't seem that it would take much to make it a sturdier product. The sound quality is good for it's size. I wish the sound were a little louder when watching movies though.
Wonderful Product July 10, 2010 N. Nelson (Greer, SC USA) My teenager with special needs uses an iPod Touch for communcation. This speaker device is small, so it keeps the size of the iPod Touch to the original size and looks like a cell phone, just like all the other teens. I can set it on auto and it with a flip up it is on and a flip down it is off. This is a great feature. My teen doesn't have to find another on/off switch. It also helps preserve the charge of the speaker system. This product is easy to charge using my computer or the iPod Touch charger. It is also inexpensive!
We really like this and highly recommend it!
Small Speakers for IPod Touch July 4, 2010 Andy G The speakers work well. The sound quality is not the greatest, but for the price and convenience definitely worth a look.

Awesome for movies and P90X! June 7, 2010 Laurence Nash (Culver City, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently ran into a couple of problems when I accompanied my sister to NYC for her first year in college last year:
1. my iPod Touch's speakers were so soft when I set it to max volume.
2. I had no way of setting my iPod Touch on an upright viewing angle.
You see, I loaded a bunch of Tony Horton's One-on-One workout videos (I used "Road Warrior" in this case) so that I could workout in my hotel room during my stay, but the speakers ended up being so weak that I wouldn't know what exercise to do next.
My trip back home to Hawaii was coming up a few months later, so I decided to do some research in an iPod/iPhone stand with a speaker and came across the Cyanics. After some deliberation, I picked these up. So what's my verdict?
The speakers are really powerful and give off some good volume. Loud enough for my workouts. If you want something that will boost your speaker performance, you definitely can't go wrong with these.
As for the rest of the build, it's all made with plastic, and feels a tad bit cheap. I'm sometimes afraid that I will break the thing if I am not too careful. Also, the kickstand is made of plastic and goes in one direction only. For me though, considering how relatively cheap it is compared to other products and what I was looking for (loud speakers and a kickstand), I think this fits the bill excellently. Considering how the average lifetime for consumer electronics is about 2 years, there will probably be something that is even better out there, and you only spent $25!
Although I have a few complaints, I still rated this item at 5 stars for all except 1 category. It is definitely worth the money and something that I take with me whenever I go on trips. Great product, highly recommended!
