The speaker is much smaller than I expected - it's thicker but shorter than a roll of Mentos! But it does the job. I can hear my iPod without earbuds and hands free. I listen to many audiobooks so for spoken word this is fine. I don't think this is the best quality for HiFi music. It's a bit tinny.
But for the price of cheap headphones I am satisfied with the speaker that fits in my purse next to my 30G iPod Video.
