Customer Reviews: This is the worst dock in the world April 22, 2010 Aaron Rowell I can't in good conscience recommend that anyone purchase this item. If you use the batteries, it drains them in roughly 3 hours of listening, and the "AC Adapter" is in fact just an adapter that plugs into your iPod charging plug, thus unless you have a spare you cannot charge both simultaneously. Additionally, the cable seems to be roughly 1 foot long so unless you plan to place the dock RIGHT next to a plug, good luck. The sound is tinny and very poor. Both of the plugs on the back (line in and AC) are so shallow that if the unit is even nudged they will come unplugged from the back. Additionally, the item only actually is sized appropriately for smaller sized iPods, my 80 GB video ipod wouldn't even fit in the slot. AVOID! It's a rip off even at $20, which is next to nothing.
Easy to use, low volume February 7, 2010 John Satterfield (Reno, NV USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This device was easy to use and worked fine with my non-iPod MP3 player, but the volume wasn't high enough for me. However, my hearing isn't great.
Artdio IPOD Player Review September 12, 2009 Mr. Phil 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The ArtDio 2.0 Portable Speaker System for iPod and MP3 Players has surprisingly good sound for an inexpensive speaker system. The only problem I found with the unit was that the batteries get drained if you leave them in the unit with the IPOD, even if the IPOD is not in use and the speaker unit is turned off.
