Product Description Philips Docking Entertainment System for iPod (Black)

| Customer Reviews: great product for the dough May 27, 2010 Elizabeth Kraus (Seattle, WA USA) Shipped fast and well, product as advertised. It seems tricky sometimes getting the iPod onto the charging dock, but overall really like this product. Great sound quality and size.
It's Elegant. April 6, 2010 Sam (New York) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's elegant. Enough sound to fill up a bedroom or a small room. Sound quality is bright, it even make fair amount of bass. But just like every other small sound systems, it could not maintain the same level of sound quality in higher end of volume control. It has a small single color display, which does not exhibit many details. But that is ok. This is not a handheld mp3 player. You don't carry it around in your pocket or read things on it. I use [HP v100w 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive P-FD8GBHP100-EF] 8MB memory stick, cost less than 20$, to keep mp3s in. Just copy files and folders in the order of your want to listen, plug it in, press USB button and it will play in the same order. Simple. If you want you can skip to next folder or to next file with the remote. It does everything a small sound system should does.
It is the price stupid April 6, 2010 Odat retired (San Diego) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am sorry I had to cancel the order I placed today. Money is so tight. All in all this is exactally what I wanted for ME. Best value considering I researched this choice compared to many other of the same type, on both fronts the provider of the product and the reputation of the manufacturer. My reason for cancellation is that I already have a similar model, not near as good but doable for the time being.
Good Product for the Price!!! March 31, 2010 E. Gorham (Dallas, Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good sound, would like it a bit more powerful but solid all in all. The ipod dock and usb input work well but as mentioned in the previous review did not show ipod display on the Philips lcd screen! All the inputs work great and charge ipod. Light weight, very durable, easy set up for wall mount hang. I have it in my garage hanging for work outs. If your looking for a solid sound, durable easy to use with your ipod mini system, this is it!
returning it March 24, 2010 David Frankson (Minnesota) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my third Phillips micro shelf system and this is the first time they've let me down. I had purchased this unit over the Philips MC235B (...) to get the ipod dock as the extra input, but I think I made a mistake. I often put my music on USB drives and when playing music the track often ends at random spots in the song and skips to the next one. Sound quality is weaker compared to my old Philips MCM275 (...) that I was replacing. (It eventually died due to 2 toddlers pulling on cords, but was a wonderful system.) The new ipod dock does not display the MP3 track information in text assuming you'll have the ipod for display. Maybe if all you use it for charging/playing your ipod it is decent, just don't expect to use the other inputs. Just for reference, my first Phillips micro self was the: Philips MCM275 (...) and it's still working great today.
