 iLuv iSP100SIL Mini Portable Speaker has a fast death July 30, 2010

I bought the "iLuv iSP100SIL Mini Portable Speaker for MP3 Players and iPod (Silver)" from Amazon.com about 3 weeks ago. I used it about 3 times then it started to not want to turn on. I was always very careful with it and treated it very gently. It did not look very sturdy to me. The sound was not too bad and I had no problems with the volume. However, it will not power on at all now. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. My lesson learned here is, I should have kept looking.

This mini speaker has MAXIMUM sound. Bought this to use when camping, going to the pool and doing work outside. Couldn't believe the sound quality even when turning the volume almost all the way up. iLuv my music and iLuv this speaker.

Although I bought this to listen in my home office, it wroked great in the car, better than the ones made for the car that work through the radio. I just put it on the other seat. I may try to mount it to the center console with sticky back velcro.
