Amazon.com Product Description Set your music free as only JBL can do it with the black On Stage II iPod speaker system. The compact yet powerful high-performance system employs a quartet of Odyssey neodymium full-range drivers to fill your room with clear, accurate sound and all the volume you (and your friends and neighbors) can handle. It's the perfect accessory for bedrooms, smallish apartments, basements, and any other space where a full-size speaker system is pure overkill. The On Stage II incorporates Apple's universal iPod dock adapter, which works with most docking versions of the iPod, including the iPod video 5G and 5.5G and the iPod nano 1G and 2G. Simply slide your iPod into the dock and you're set--no additional cords to connect or adapters to fuss with. As an added convenience, the On Stage II also offers an auxiliary input for connecting a variety of other portable audio devices, including the iPod shuffle, personal MP3 and CD players, desktop and laptop computers (all platforms), and satellite radio receivers. As long as your portable audio device has a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack connection, you can play the audio through your On Stage II speaker. As a bonus, the On Stage II comes with a wireless remote control, giving you the freedom to enjoy your music from across the room or in another room--up to 50 feet away (including through walls). The system itself, meanwhile, includes easy-to-use touch controls for the volume and mute, and even remembers your last volume setting after it shuts down. The system, which offers a frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, measures 7 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall and weighs 1 pound. It's also backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box On Stage II speaker system, wireless remote control, power cord, iPod adapter, input cable, user manual.

Sounds great but doesn't charge new iPods June 24, 2010 Stella (Northern Illinois) Great unit, sounds great for such a small unit, but didn't realize it was an older model and won't charge the newer ipod's and iTouch. Says it charges all iPods, but that was at the time it was sold, so it doesn't charge the newer models, plays them fine but won't charge them. Bummer
Great relation cost x benefit. May 3, 2010 G. Biagioli (Brazil) I have been searching for a docking station with a reazonable relation cost x benefit, and this JBL has perfectly met my expectation after a couple of weeks of daily use. Clean sound and nice design. Be aware: it plays but it does not charge if you dock your iTouch. No problem when using the classic iPod video.
Nice product April 10, 2010 C. Ramirez (SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA, US) Very happy with the sound quality but was disappointed the remote does not control menu functions on my Ipod
Nice product, good sound March 30, 2010 Average Guy (Erieville, NY, US) We are very happy with this item. The only problem is that it does not charge the latest generations of Ipods. Unfortunately, this is a Apple issue and is a problem with most docking stations.
