this little speaker system is designed to take almost anywhere. I origionally purchased it locally and was so pleased with it that I wanted a back up for when i wear it out. Because I couldn't find it here anywhere, I went to E-bay and there it was, I as so relieved. It has such a clear sound, not tinny like many of the portable Ipod speakers. One of the nice features is that I can store my Ipod inside it as well as my earbuds.
