Customer Reviews: Design OK but AM reception very poor January 30, 2010 Bonnie (Gualala, US, Canada) This radio is nicely designed and had all of the features that we wanted, but we returned it to Amazon because the AM radio reception was exceedingly poor. We wanted a clock radio that could charge/play the nano and also pick up radio stations; just playing the nano wasn't enough. We know the reception was the radio's problem and not the location, as we compared the reception of other radios in the exact same location in the house. Radio reception in our area IS difficult, but good quality receivers (such as CCrane's CCRadio, or a Bose clock radio) can pick up stations well, and "medium" quality radios do less well but can still pick up the strong stations. This unit could pick almost nothing, day or night. It is a shame that they didn't make any effort to put a decent AM tuner and antenna in this otherwise good unit. It may be a fine choice if you are in an area where the AM signals are strong, or if you don't care about AM reception.
Poor visual & sound qualiy December 27, 2009 C. Morse (St Louis) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you are using with an iTouch you will not be able to see the time on the clock. The sound quality with the radio was fine but we tried using it with an iTouch and an iPod classic and heard a humming noise. This will be an after Christmas return.

Not User-Friendly June 23, 2009 Jennifer M. Lake (Grand Rapids, Michigan USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Not easy to set alarm type and time on both alarms. I had to settle for using my i-Pod as the alarm clock on this one. However, I am happy that the radio works and that the unit charges the iPod.
Not Really Usable as a Clock Radio... June 19, 2009 Old Nick (Massachusetts) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
...unless you are prepared to risk burst eardrums. All alarm modes (iPod, FM Radio, etc.) are at a volume that shakes the windows and invites complaints from the neighbors. The volume knob controls normal playing modes just fine, but the alarm is not controllable and thus could not be used. I ultimately returned the item.
