My first 5 star product! April 19, 2010 Arthur D. Jones (Chicago) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
AWESOME! Sound is great, slow fade into music during start up saves the "TURN IT DOWN", problem on start up. Really not one single complaint about this product. Speaker wires come in 2 lengths, & one speaker has a snooze button. Have had it for 5 months now, use it everyday.
Product not good. March 12, 2010 Steve J. Garza 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The volume will not go up or down and only plays on the "high" set. Unable to change any of the settings and the remote control does not work. The friend I bought it for refuses to let me return it. I made a big mistake buying this item that does not work. Caveat emptor.
Nice system for a reasonable price February 20, 2010 R. Coffey (SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This system has a nice sound for such a low cost unit. I of course did a torture test of it when I first got it to see how it sounds at high volume, and I must say, I was pretty impressed. I got it nearly all the way cranked (LOUD!) before some clipping was apparent. At "normal" volumes, the sound is great, aided in no small part by the subwoofer, which has an independent volume adjustment. Also an eq, and alternate sound mode, which I found frankly unnecessary, since the default settings sound just fine as is.
The only con is that the smaller satellite speakers seem a little light gauge...If you pushed them too hard for too long I could see them failing.
Overall, if you need a nice little ipod dock that sounds decent and wont break the bank, give this one a try. Ideal for a bedroom sound system that you dont need to have a super high volume on. It is also an alarm clock, and if thats your intended use for this, I would say this is the Ferrari of alarm clocks! Will fill the room and then some...
Sound is a little weak February 6, 2010 Jaguar2020 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Even though it is a small table top unit, we thought it might have a fuller sound, especially since it has the subwoofer. The sound was not terrible, but it had a thin sound with weak bass. Otherwise it functioned well with both an ipod touch and an iphone.
Excellent product February 1, 2010 Brett Melton (Seattle, WA USA) I love the sound for the size. My only complaint is that the clock can't be set by the iPhone. Other than that, i love this product.
