I bought this and it does not work well at all if you turn it up all the way it sounds really weird and I dont like it all i would highly recommend not buying this it is a waste of money

This little speaker has amazing sound quality. It runs on batteries so you can take it everywhere. And we've been using it nearly every day for a few weeks now and the batteries are still going. We use it outside the house while working in the yard or swimming in the pool and we use it inside when we don't feel like using the big stereo. I would highly recommend this product if you need a good portable stereo.

I got this product as my first iHome, and I'm not very satisfied. They make the product look MUCH larger than it actually is, but what company doesn't? If anyone has ever told you that you listen to music too loud or "ARE YOU DEAF?" than this is not the product for you. There is no volume control on the product, so you have to use your ipod/mp3 player for volume. I was not aware that I had to use a cord to use this machine, and that makes it much worse. Your device only sits on the ihome correctly when it is not plugged in. And most important, do NOT buy this item if your looking for a home for your touch or iphone, or something of equal size. The Itouch is longer and much taller than the speaker system, so it cannot stand on it. But other than that, if you were going to buy it for your 5 year old who doesn't blast his looney toons sound track and has a 2 inch ipod shuffle, go for it.

Perfect size, great that it runs of batteries so can take it places plugged in speakers cannot go, great price--but where is the sound? I'm using this to listen to music from my iphone, and the music from the ipod on my iphone is quite loud. When connected to these speakers, it's like trying to listen to whispering music. Too bad.

First off, I purchased these speakers on 6/23/10 and got them the very next day! Super fast delivery is always nice.
I tried them out when I got home and I was pleasantly surprised by the sound when I turned the volume up all the way. There didn't seem to be any static (or very, very little) and the bass is evident - no tinny sound! They're small enough to not take up a lot of space and make it easier to carry back and forth between home and work. I think they were worth the cost!
