Good sound for little speakers. March 7, 2010

Sound quality is really good for the size. It only suffers when I plug the usb to my netbook for charging. They start hissing and buzzing. Sound improved when unplugged, or plugged into a usb ac adapter(i used the one for my ipod.)

These are great little speakers. My laptop won't go loud enough when we are watching a movie and this is the answer. They also work wonderfully with my Ipod. Another nice feature is that they recharge via a USB connection. No batteries to replace. Once they are charged, they play for a long time. Included is a little bag to carry them in and a cord wrap. Each speaker collapses down and, with a little twist, stays collapsed. Then the two speakers magnify together which allows you to stash them away easily. A lot of thought went into these little guys. Even though they are little, they sound great. The only problem is that everyone else in the house - especially your teenager - will want to adopt them. I'm about to order a 2nd set. Enjoy!

Excellent little speakers. Got them for my kids and they just love them. No batteries to mess around with which is great for any gadgets that you get for kids. No batteries is good for both the environment and the pocketbook. I don't have high expectation for little speakers when it comes to the quality of sound but these little bubbas were pretty good. All in all great value product.

I use these tiny speakers at home for my Mac Mini because they have almost no bass, which is nicer if you live in an apartment and don't want to get noise complaints from the neighbors - it's the bass that penetrates the walls.
They pick up lots of interference from the wires around the computer. I realize they are designed for use as ipod speakers, but for a computer they are prone to picking up computer noise.
